Air Ambulance charity match success

Henley Town hosted an Air Ambulance charity match on Sunday which raised £831.

Donations came from programme sales and supporters for the title decider game on the Saturday and gate receipts and donations for the charity match on Sunday.

A message from for the Air Ambulance below:

Just wanted to make sure I dropped you a quick note to say a massive Thank You for your support today.

The moment we arrived you made us welcome and really did roll out the Red carpet for us, simple little things to like allocating us some car parking was an enormous help and made us feel really appreciated, and to lay on the food for the players and families was such a lovely and kind gesture.

I wanted to let you know that your "bucket of coins" collected yesterday at your home game had the amazing amount of £167.00 in it and the running total from players donations and gate receipts is at £833 which is truly an amazing amount and I am totally blown away by this figure.

I will let you know a final total as we still have our own players making donations (paying subs) via our just giving page but thought I'd let you know where we are in running so to speak.

There are more games in the pipeline and we will defiantly take you up on the offer to use the facilities again for another match and all things being equal we can advertise way in advance and get more of a crowd to support us and of course you.

Thank you so much as without clubs like yours we simply couldn't make amazing days like today happen and in turn keep that vital funding for the Thames Valley Air Ambulance.
